Big Little Mixers
American Audio Releases New Series of 3 Compact PA Mixers Featuring an Awesome Array of 99 Onboard Digital DSP Effects
LOS ANGELES - American Audio has packed big-time professional features into 3 relatively small-scale PA mixers: the new M822FX, M1224FX and M1624FX.
Ideal for bands, presentations, houses of worship, speakers and small productions of all types, the M822FX, M1224FX and M1624FX bring powerful live sound reinforcement to a wide range of users who prefer a small-format mixer. Professional-quality digital effects are built right into each unit, allowing users to tweak the audio to their liking and achieve a big fat sound, no matter how small the venue.
The 3 new mixers vary in size and the number of channels offered on each unit. Compared to most PA boards on the market today, they are extremely compact, bearing a footprint thats only slightly larger than typical home-studio type mixers. Yet, their faders, switches and control knobs are large enough to make them easy to operate on the fly. All 3 units feature heavy-duty steel construction - rather than the plastic found on many smaller mixers -making them rugged enough to handle extensive travel/touring applications and withstand the rigors of daily professional use.
The M822FX features 2 Mono and 3 Stereo Channels. It weighs only 7 lbs. and measures 9.75” x 2.5” x 11.5”. Suggested retail price: $239.95.
The M1224FX features 4 Mono and 4 Stereo Channels. It weighs just 8 lbs. and measures 13” x 2.5” x 16.5”. Suggested retail price: $369.95.
The M1624FX features 8 Mono and 4 Stereo Channels. It weighs 13 lbs. and measures 17.25” x 2.5” x 16.5”. Suggested retail price: $479.95.
“Our M822FX, M1224FX and M1624FX professional PA mixers were developed in response to customer requests for dedicated live sound in a small-format unit,” said Tom Freret, National Sales Manager for American Audio. “Available in 3 different sizes to fit a variety of applications and input requirements, these units feature an awesome array of 99 onboard 24-bit DSP effects and are compact and rugged enough for regular use on the road. They provide a true and practical pro audio solution to a growing customer base that seeks quality and convenience in live sound reinforcement gear.”
All 3 mixers include built-in Phantom Power, needed for condenser mics commonly used to amplify choirs, performers/speakers and certain musical instruments. The M1224FX and M1624FX come packaged with hardware “ears” for easy mounting directly onto a standard 19” rack.
